VA Benefits
Practice Areas
PTSD & Mental Health Disorders
There are eight categories of mental disorders: schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders; delirium, dementia, amnestic and other cognitive disorders; anxiety disorders (including PTSD); dissociative disorders; somatoform disorders; mood disorders; chronic adjustment disorder; and eating disorders.
Clear and Unmistakable Error
If you feel like the VA issued an unfavorable decision based on a clear or unmistakable error (CUE) you may be able to argue that the decision should be reversed or revised. A CUE claim is very powerful because it allows you to establish your effective date on the date of the prior decision, even if it has been years since you noticed the error.
Gulf War Syndrome
If you served in the Persian Gulf War in the early 1990s or in Operation Iraqi Freedom after September 11, 2001, you may be entitled to benefits for certain medically unexplained chronic multi-symptom illnesses (such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and irritable bowel syndrome), as well as certain infectious diseases.
Free Consultation
Don't let the VA push you around when it comes to the benefits that you earned and deserve. Set up your free consultation today and push back.
If the Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Office or the Board of Veterans' Appeals denied your claim, then click on the Denied Claim option and let's get to work.
As always, there are no attorney fees unless I win your claim and get you back pay.
